Hey everyone.  Cruise prices have gone down enough that I took the wife on a short cruise to Bermuda over the Labor Day weekend.   It was a 5 day Royal Carribean cuise out of Baltimore with a two day port visit in Bermuda.  There was a day at sea going to Bermuda and a day at sea coming home.

Here's the wife and I by the pool while our luggage was being delivered to our cabin.

One of the evenings was formal dining.

Every evening we returned to our cabin and there would be a towel animal on the bed.

The ship was the Grandeur of the Seas.

The beaches were great!

We saw a Bermuda Weather Stone.

All in all it was a good time!

Looks like you two had a great time!  My parents go on a cruise every 6 months.  Somehow, my mother gets these unheard of deals....like a 7-night cruise to the St. Lucia for $699 for 2 people with AIRFARE INCLUDED!!!

Dude, that is the bermuda triangle. Glad you made it out alive.

I have another question. Where do people who live in bermuda go on vacation ?

People from Bermuda, Bahamas, Caymans and the rich Islands come to London, Paris, Zurich to visit their poorer relatives and visit their bankers and stockbrokers. You can kick the crap out of your plastic in not time at all in some of those places.

Seriously, glad to see that Mr & Mrs Porkchop enjoyed the exprience. It also keeps a lot of nice people in work - I should know, 33 years with P&O before "semi-retirement"

Funny you should ask.  That is the same question I asked our tour guide.  He said the last vacation he was on he went to New York City.  The US is the closest vacation destination but they all have Brit passports as well so they go to England and Europe.

You're ok as long as you're not flying through it.

I'm getting married (again) next May and we're doing a 5 day out of Jacksonville, FL to Key West, Nassau, and back to JAX.  Never done a cruise before, so this should be interesting.
