Macquarie Pass run 17.7.10

Hi guys,

will last Friday I finally got my bike service ( at home  ) now I can get back into riding  .
sat morn I woke up about 7.00am & look out side to see it was a going to be a Great day for a ride  . now I could not make up my mind where to go , so I thought I would do a run up  Macquarie Pass  which I have not done on a bike for the last 2 years . so it was off to south nowra for some fuel ( it was about 5deg there sooo cold anyway I head out to Berry
& on to Kiama  and Jamberoo were i made a pit stop . from to Macquarie Pass  ( man I love this litlle bit of road , but only when you have it to yourself  ) I did have a car in front but it was good to have him there ( he was doing pretty good) and also it give me a little more room in front if anyone was coming down , finally got to the Pie shop to fined there was only 3 other bikes (I wonder if the cold weather had anything to do with that ) .
after some hot chocolate it was time to head back home.
in all I had a top day both runs up & back were pretty good  hardly anyone on the road & it was pretty cool to be back on the bike.

Looks like a great day

A colleague of mine at work did this run the other day and was telling me all about it. Will have to make it down there sometime in the coming weekends!

Hey matt,

I should take a run down there too, I have been down the Macquarie Rivulet 3 times in a wet suit and dangling off the end of a rope so being on a bike would be a first! Nice pics!
