I NEED AN IGNITER

Alright so Ive determined that my problem for no spark is my igniter. which OEM is 314 bones. so I thought I'd try here and the junk yard first.  Is there anyone here who has an Igniter (shown here as part number 1under the tab SIGNAL GENERATER) http://www.partforyamaha.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/1/50/25817/1050/default.aspx  that they could part with.  Maybe you put a new engine in your bike, maybe your parting it out, anything really, I need one cheap.

also does anyone know if E or F makes a differance, casue isnt F just an E with fairings?

04+ will not work, different signal generator. Need to use 89-02.

if you have absolutly no luck their the otherside of the pond,i have one spare (fully tested and working fine,off a 97 i beleive) but im over in Blighty (england) so time/cost might be inadequate for you bud

you can get a new one here which may or may not work out cheaper depending on currency conversion. its from the UK also.

I know, my bad if i came off rude, i was just saying it was a bummer that so far, the only person whos got one is so far away.  Text does express comments well.

Hey just got another idea, cause im not positive the igniter is bad.  If there is anybody who lives near St. Louis MO on here that would be willing to meet me somewhere and plug in my Igniter into their working bike to see if it still works, i would be very appreciative, and give you like 20 or 30 bucks or whaterver for your troubles, and gas or whatever.  Because my teacher says theres no way to test this part. (i take a motorcycle mechanincs class before regualr high school in the mornings)

But if anyone does know a way to test the Igniter also known as the CDI box, for a 97 (pre 2001) gs500 thatd be great.
