 Man I literally think everybody in Ipswich was at Bunnings today. Went and chased up all the bolts that were missing off the GS. Think I may be ready to sell her. Just doesn't get ridden anymore when there is a Ducati Monster sitting next to it. To bad the bike market is dead.

What are the prices on bike sales?

Lowest price if $4,400 ASKING. That only has 12,000 clicks on it.

Next is asking $4,900 with 50+ thou on the clock. Good luck on that with bikes with far fewer clicks selling for less and close to that.

I've got over 52,000 on mine now. I'll keep it until the engine totally wears out. So I've got at least another 100,000 to go! 

As for selling, quick sale with a lower price or wait and wait and wait for a sale at a higher price.

Bikesales? keep an eye on the listings to see if they are selling. Just cause people are asking a certain price doesn't mean it will sell at that price.

Just got this info from them...

The first Transition Level ride with vacancies is the 8th September. The first Level 1 with vacancies is 8 July The first Level 2 with vacancies is 7th July.

They suggest everyone do a level 1 before doing a level 2. So let me know peeps and I'll book us in.

Ok. I've booked myself, Terry and Slips in for July 8 level 1. There are Not many spots left for that date. So if you want in Cods/Twisted, then call (07) 5667 3624.

I've also booked me and Terry in for a subsequent Level 2, Level 2a and Level 3. The idea being they follow on from each other. I am told spaces are also becoming limited for those too. So, if you want to do likewise, get in quick. Each level is only $45 for the whole day.

Last year may 15, Team Moto did their Demo Day along Splityard. This is a heads up they May do another such day this year. I figure it will either be May 13 or May 20. I have the organiser's phone number and will call them on Monday to find out - and see if they can send me a list of available bikes.

Generally you can book in for 2 bikes. BUT, they have vacancies where people do not turn up and you can also get a ride on those bikes if you're willing to hang around for longer.

1st Demo day I rode a Triumph America and Yamaha XVS650
2nd Demo Day I rode a Kawasaki W800 and Honda Shadow VT750s

If available this time I'll probably go a C50 and then something mid range or even LAMs like a CB400 or GSX650 or even MT01.

They reckon that what tends to happen is, the exotic bikes get booked out first (such as Vmax, MT01, etc.) and then the more standard bikes get booked out second.

The ride is around 25 minutes long. And while you do have to follow the group there is no reason you cannot pass other riders in the process. last year I was stuck behind the same slowpoke on both my rides and had to pass him. Then also passed a shitload when we reached the overtaking lanes.

Anyway. I'll update the info I find out about it on Monday...

Team moto will be putting the demo day details on their website this week and adding info about it in their newsletter which goes out next week. I'll keep an eye out and post when it is online.
