ere so yeah maybe a replaced speedo too to hide the real miles.

why? so you can falsify information and sell somebody a ticking time bomb?

No. I mis communicated. What I Meant was... seeing as the tacho looks like it was just sitting there, it COULD mean it as well as the Speedo have been replaced so the one there is NOT the original as such the real miles are hidden

Mister,
Chains rust , think tires....consumables...stuff you'll replace  sooner or later anyway (Can't always knock money off for those but you can try)...

Yes. Chains do rust. However, the point is... this is a Repair Shop trying to sell a bike that will Immediately need a new chain and probably sprocket. So you've got to consider these Immediate Additional Costs into the $1,100 price tag. Plus, a rusty chain is a turn off. So are the stains. etc. Might not be anything wrong with it beside questionable engine. But it looks neglected. Neglected means $$$ for the new buyer to bring up to scratch. So for the money... it ain't such a good deal. As you pointed out, better deals out there.

As someone that makes a living as a mechanic, if the guy has a repair shop and is selling a vehicle that needs repairs he is either: A. not a good mechanic, B. lazy, or C. passing on a POS that isn't worth his time to fix/is coming up on major repairs.  A and B are passable but watch out for C   >:(  Buyer beware
