I like the instructions....

"Special Instructions: slip-on"

I don't even see a drop down menu or anything for bikes it fits, how do you know what kind of bike it will fit on??

The Buddha

It looks an awful lot like an SV size can or 600/750 GSXR types. Those have harger inlets than a GS. You would need to make up a pipe with a flare that is right to fit inside that can and on the ooutside of the GS'es header. Yypically since there is not much room before the center stand carrier the flared adapter is better to be an S pipe ... and you fit it further ahead @ the part just past the Y connection.
Just my guess from looking at it. I could do it all ... if someone were to get a pipe sent to me if there is a 10 or so order set minimum. It prolly wont be nearly as $ as the flange of old. That was 40 bucks.
This wont need the end plate which had to be laser cut and no welding either ... I'd guess under 20 especially if I have 10 or so. Just need the right diameter pipe and maybe flare it ... and some times you need 2, you can only spread a pipe large enough to fit over itself without tearing. So a 2 inch OD pipe will be spread to 2inch ID. To get to a 2.5 lets say, you have to use 2-3 slippers or adapters.

Whatever ... I will still guess I can get em done quite easy/cheap.

Buddha,

Just trying to clarify your post...

You may be able to make a link pipe to connect the outlet of the stock Y-junction to the inlet of this pipe?  For ~ $20?
I would definately be in for that price!

Anyone else?

Yes I should be ... you prolly will have to weld it on ... cos the old flange has 3 bolt plate on the end and it was slip on cos it was bolted in the other end.
Of course it could be clamped on and may work ... the risk is, it may fall off from vibrations. I am looking at a picture and theorising ... but weld or slip on to the Y ...
See if 10 people want to get in ... also I would need 1 of these sent to me, of course it will be sent to you when I am done.
Really I am shooting for $10-15 ... The pipes last time were $10 or so ... but I had like 40 I had to bend and make, but it was 1 size ... no flaring and adapters. Really I have to have one to take muffler shop. The real design is to be done there.
Under $20 ... need a 10 pack, need 1 muffler to my hand. The rest is easy. You may need to weld on the mid pipe.

OK alright .. .screw everything I said ...

That guy said in the specs section - its a 2 inch inlet. Assuming he had all the clamps and what ever in the deal, it is a direct fit for a 01+ bike. Just make a shallow cut @ the flare, grind the burr and the shards of metal out to be nice and round and slip it on and ride.
If its 2 inch, its direct fit on 01+.

On a 89-00 bike, I will get a small slipper with the right flare etc made to fit in that same area between the flare/weld and the can. Then probably weld the slipper to the header and run. That slipper prolly be 5 bucks or less.

Of course the point I am not sure of is if the can will clear the swingarm. The wiley co which I would guess is the same OD as this thing was not gonna clear ... of course if you hit the swingarm ... you can drop a pipe in the header. have a friend ... make that friend who owes ya big ... hold the bike and you pull it out. Of course beyond a certain point that is bad ... heck its bad even if its a little, you can screw up the thing @ the head.

If you get it all to fit, you're home free.

The oval cans I am circling around are narrower than the stock or this ... they will clear easy. But no idea when ... or $. But I know now, it shouldn't be much over a 100 ... this is a bit chintzy ... mine are better ... if I ever get em.
