very good, looks simular to mine, mine was a gs500f and was crashed then turned into a gs500e also :)

how did you crash?

Well most of the people who crash their GS500F transform their bike into a regular GS500.

Thing is: if you scrap one side of your fairing you have to buy a brand new set of fairing: left right etc because suzuki deliver one side in a color that will be slighty different from the rest. Then you have to buy the sticker. And all of that cost an arm.

And if you try to paint back, then you have to do an all new painting and the bike because suzuki won"t tell you the original mixture.

The thing is most of the people who buy a GS500F are beginer, and beginer crash. If you are a newbie: don't buy a GS500F!

Painters color match by eyeball. Its possible to get it without suzuki's mix composition.
But yea fairings look ugly ... naked looks great ...  :thumb:
Cool.

actually 1) you can get the color code from suzuki its on the wiki 2) I bought a fairing off ebay and it matched perfectly for $20 no less. 3) not all newbs crash (mine was knocked over by inconsiderate neighbors). 4) "F" model is the best!

What kind of bars?
They are just a set of bars I got for free off of a junk pile at a Suzuki Dealership. They have the same length and width of the stock bars, but have a lower rise. I also leaned them forward a little bit. Much better look I think.

How did I crash?
I had my cousin on the back, coming around a corner I lost sight of the car in front of me, came around to glowing brake lights. Locked up the rear tire around a turn and slammed into him.

1)Actually the colors code from suzkuki don't mean anything. HU9 on the wiki for instance (the blue of the GS500F)? Aske a painter what color is that and he will laugh, it's only susuki vocabulary, it's not a real color code.
2) Usually fairing you can found on ebay are from bike that crashed. So if you got one without one scratch you are very lucky! Even then, you paid lot of money for a piece of plastic that cost 2dollards to built.
3) Most newb crash or let their bike fell over
4)For that one, I agree.
