hey, does anyone know a good place in chicago where i can take my gs??  someplace not too expensive but trustworthy?  also, i have a noise coming from the front of my bike.  every revolution or so of my front tire i can hear a chirping like noise.  any idea what it could be?  thanks for any help.

on the chirping, could be tire rubbing, or axle-shaft /bearing in need of lube?, just a thought. as far as the mech. goes, havn't a clue, been 2 years since a visit, and 12 since i lived in chi-town :( boy do i miss it :(

thankfully, i haven't needed a mechanic thus far...

but, if i did need one...i would call either
chicago cycle center (touhy and western)
or
champion cycle (addison and western)

but more than likely, prolly chicago cycle center because every time i deal with them for other things, they're ok. and their service center is pretty large....

hope it helps
the closer you are the quicker it hits you...

i've gone to redline cycle service in skokie, il. a few times.  good people and service (it's a mom and pop shop) and imo cheaper then cycle center mega sportbike shop cuz less overhead for him to deal with.

good luck on where ever you end up taking it.

Redline is awesome. You can also try 4&6 racing. They are also in Skokie. They are on Oakton and Ridgeway. Do not go to Cycle Cneter or Champion Cycle. Big time ripoffs! Let me know what part of town you're from. There is also a place on California and Addison called All  Brands. They have good prices on parts and stuff. Hope this helps you out!  :thumb:
People take these things too seriously!
