i found these..

i bought some plate bracket mount signals that were sealed at the beginning of the season and now one of my bulbs has gone out resulting not only in me needing new signals, but also in my ride being parked til i get something new in the mail.. since i don't want to replace the cheap pieces of crap i have currently, i was looking into other options and came across these.. was wondering if anyone has seen these or maybe has some other suggestions.

i have done a fenderectomy and removed the mounting holes for stalk style signals.. was thinking of getting some flush mounts a drilling new holes in the rear fenders.. again.. has anyone seen this done.. i don't figure it would be too difficult and would probably look ok..

all suggestions welcome

Don't know how legal they'd be or how visible for that matter :dunno_white:

Interesting however!

Yeah, you can see them well in that picture, but who really knows what they look like in person. At one point I wanted to get rid of my stock signals, so I went to pepboys and got some stickon LED strips, spent forever trying different amounts of resistors from radio shack, and eventually got them working. It looked sweet, they worked well in my garage, but as soon I was actually out in the day light they were worthless. I eventually just made new little brackets that mounted my stock signals on my undertail somewhere around the passenger pegs where there were already some holes in the undertail. Worked well enough.

for $50 I'd just wait until i found someone who had tried them, or see if you can find any reviews online somewhere. They do look cool though.

jeremy > those are exactly what i have now that are burnt out, which i don't want to replace..

how well do you think taking a set of front fairing flush mounts and drilling into my undertail would do?  more visible than the peg mount things i think.

those are nice but they don't seem like they'd be very visible.. as far as the ones i have currently installed.. one of the bulbs is burnt out and they are sealed.. i would not feel right selling them. if you want them anyway, you can have them for the 3$ it will cost to ship them usps priority mail since all i'm gonna do is toss them.

i was looking at something more like these:

http://www.motosport.com/motorcycle/product/YANA-SHIKI-LED-UNIVERSAL-FLUSH-MOUNT-TURN-SIGNALS/?prodId=2085120&sMMY=SUZUKI;GS500F;2006&

they would prevent me from drilling into my undertail, but i've never used anything with doublesided tape to affix and am almost leery of using something like them.. i do like the style however

Did you need resistors? they make 12v strips.  also does anyone know if your blinker has to *blink* on its own. or can you just press in the button, release the button, press in the button, release the button, press in the button, release the button, press in the button, release the button  :D
