I bought this on Ebay ,it said will fit on 89-2000 GS without any modification but when tried mounting it the mounting bolts are few mm off.I don't know whether it will fit later GS Model
but the marking on the lamp says HONDA ,can anyone help me identify from which model it is from.I did not want to do any modification to the mounting.

If anyone is interested in it can make offer, havent checked if the bulbs work though.I will put it back on Ebay if no one is interested

Looks like it's from a CBR 600.

Might want to post this on a Honda forum, or pop into your local Honda dealer to be sure. But I'd say, CBR 600.

CBR600 F4/F4i.  They fit in the stock 89-00 GS rear bodywork with minimal modification.

Looks right to me. Seems too curvy to fit 'with minimal modification', but I don't have a great imagination.

Try dropping down to 4 Oreos and set your pilot screw 3 turns out.

The light is actually square, the varying length gives it the illusion of being rounded when you look at it from the rear at a slight angle.

It is a tight fit but doable.  There were some areas on the sides of the light that were raised I ground off.  Once Kay is done riding for the year we will start mocking things up and get some pics with it on the bike.  If it looks good I might pitch the idea to her to get one of the smoked ones off ebay since she wants to powder coat the frame black.  This one was a freebie that came off a friend's stunt bike.  If you do buy a used stock one try to find one with the bulb sockets still in it.  I had to modify the sockets out of the CBR 600 F1 donor bike to work with this one.  Later
