It was taped off when i bought my 97 E used.  bike runs fine, all lights work except i dont have blinkers on it, but i think the blinkers plug into these two sets of wires that arent in the pic. but dont know.

Its the diode pack, part of the starter interlock circuit. Dont remove, otherwise the bike wont start.
