Yea yea he's a peckerhead ... now that, that is out of the way ...

Nothing ever shows up on time ...

Usually that is about it. I dunno any more complaints ? stuff is screwed up, missing stuff ? doesn't work ?

Sorry guys its all a refurbishing/engineering operation. I struggle for time, space, and inspiration to do some things. Like I have to build a tool to open the R6 shock I have promised to someone. 2 months of thinking and finally I got somehting that I am going to use, matter of fact I split the one for the GR already.

If I say something is available, I dont sell it from under you to someone else, especially if you have paid for it.

I say OK I have to work on it and get it prepped for your bike (exhaust adapters etc are a classic example) and someone posts saying they're selling theirs for less, I would automatically say, here buy this ...

Other than that stuff I sell usually is used but tested and functional. Jets of course are new, others like braces and round covers are freshly made.
I really dont like to sell stuff that I have not tested, which is why the R6 shocks have been piling up @ my hang outs (I did buy 2 of the new style and 1 old the twin eyelet type)

Anyway, tons of excuses, weather included, which is why even the pics of Jared's work are not up.
Sorry about all that. I put a higher priority on repairs (like your carbs if they were sent to me) over mods like shocks or pipes cos well, you can run stock till the mods show, but I have your carbs, you cannot ride. But well, its just an excuse.

Cool.

I've always been happy with anything I've bought from you.  When something is screwed up you handle it professionally.  Great communication too.

Why the negativity?  Are you feeling guilty or something?   :D
My 90 GS500E has spread itself across the nation.

You're a piece of SHYT!!!!  I told you I'd buy those sheep boots, but when I sent the money, you refunded me the cash about 10 minutes later!

You're excuse? "I just used them and it felt GREAT!"  BULLSHYT!

Not quite, but the shock I was supposed to test and send 2 weeks ago, it still in the bubble wrap on the seat of my truck ... and much of the bubble is popped ...
I wasn't able to open it cos I am modding that kat shock tool for the R6 ... that got me thinking, there is stuff to Australia waiting ... can that someone eanted, and I told him to buy yours after saying I'll put a pic of mine ... and carbs that are caked in fine mud I forgot who sent me till he wrote to me ... 1 year and I am unable to clean it ...

Just all these have got me worried about generally working on stuff and packing it and sending it out. How horribly inefficient it is ... however no one sends me anything unless its beyond redemption ... so its a bit less my fault than I wrote to be ...

Sorry An, no sheep parts are vere making their way to you ... nope. I cannot let that sorta harm come to any sheep or part there of.

Cool.

Not totally nuts like the OP!!!

The Bob!

P.S. Buddha, stop the qq-ing.  You know you're to blame so fix it!  Pun intended?  Fix it instead of explaining to us why you fail daily :whisper:

This is not acceptable http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?action=trader;sa=detail;feedid=139

And you were bashing Josh?!!

ROFL!!!

Big shot ... sorry mayoke is a moron. I did pay him for shipping the rim back. That Idiot changed his mind a whole bunch of times, and he refused to do what I told him. Worse yet even before he bought my bike, he had made up his mind about not wanting a GS. he all the way had his eye on a ninja 250.

He left the feedback and disappeared.
He was in atlanta. I am in charlotte, ~250 miles away.
He bought a bike from me, which I delivered to atlanta. The bike ran great on the test drive and for several weeks prior to that.

It had a bandit 400 wheel on it, that he wanted out of because that was going to save him $ ... and he said that like the day before I was to load up and drive. I got a stock wheel with a decent tire no less along and proceeded to change the thing in his apartment. The rotor bolt broke my allen head on the bandit wheel. That I could not fix and still leave a running bike which he wanted the next day.
These are not any point of contention, even he would say he did all of this, I have the PM's to prove it if you're interested.

Then here begin the points of contention.
The bike started giving his trouble running right after he filled up the next day. That point I told him it could be bad gas, he said no. Then on and on it went. Till he found the tank had rust and the tank and carbs had to be cleaned.
I told him to send me both and I'll clean it free and coat and send back.

He didn't do that and just complained away.

I am not sure what he did after that, except he sold the bike and bought a ninja 250.

The point of contention is that he claims the tank was rusty @ the time I brought it to him. I said it got crappy fuel, then got rusty. I do tank lining so very often. If I had thought it needed it, I'd have done it. That time I was doing kreem, and I did several tanks for people on gstwin too. In fact I'd have swapped a body and sent it like I often do with coated tanks I have on hand.

The wheel he shipped me much after I delivered it to him. It was just a week or so before I moved to houston. That houston move obviously took up my finances. The end result was that I took about 3 months to pay him, mainly because 2 months was spent with very little income and the last month was spent moving and re establishing my house.

I have proof of that as well via paypal.

Big shot, there is no one I have ripped off on this site like joshr08 has done.

I may have promised stuff to people and waffled ... but no delivery of item = refund always. I also dont send people garbage. If I am not sure, I dont sell it, I run it on mine. Then if it holds up, it will be sold as such ... looked weird, but it worked on my bike for 500 miles and 3 months.

This thread is no really intended to fix anything, I am just explaining that people send me rather borderline cases of parts that require serious thought to fix, or the inherent nature of other things I am doing to fix stuff that have been found in questionable circumstances.

I am not saying the feedback is bogus, but there has been updates after the feedback was left. The rust part, I dont know who is correct. I never saw it, and likely that he didn't either.

mildly entertaining but do we gotta go through this again? :icon_rolleyes:

DoD#i

Yawn.

Sit at computer and type this junk less, giving more time to sort crap out and ship it.

Booooo-ring.

I think I'll follow my own advice now.
1990 GS500EL - with moderately-ugly paintjob.
1982 XJ650LJ -  off the road for slow repairs

The Buddha

Makes no difference Dod ... cos I am at work where I have to watch the crap flow out from the W ... images of matrix with stuff floating across teh screen ... yea. That's me.

I do this 36 hours a day. Then when I get home I got a list of errands, like the wife's car with broken suspension etc etc to fix. So crap I want to do, never gets done.

So typing on here is not the same as working on parts for people on here ...

Price - Speed - Quality : Pick 2

Or in Buddha's case: Pick 1

Maybe just half of one, so as not to strain himself too much at first.

No I usually strive for none ...

Like that front end with missing parts and a broken steering stop you tried to pass off as the schnitz eh bob. Just trying to emulate the best ... the bob is the best. The best part was after that blaming quitting smoking. I wish I had some cool "reason" like that.

Hey man,
You were one of the ones I posted this as an apology to. I should test and send it by tommorow. Testing it turned into a 2 week nightmare, 750 shocks have a external dial that stick out, now I have in the past had damaged dials and hence didn't care about it breaking cos it already was. Now though the tool needed to be modded, then I decided to mod it a bit more for a R6 shock. Then I opened the R6 shock ... all the while dodging the rain and the busted cars and what not. Finally tool is back, R6 shock is back together ... and we're good to go.
Cool.
