Dumb question about the GSXR mirrors

So I got my hand on some GSXR mirrors, and I am about to mount them. However I really suck at electrical thing  >:( , so how do exactly I plug the GSXR mirror wire into the GS500F wiring cables?

I guess I would have to cut and put some electrical connector. But what kind exactly?

You buy a six-pack of whatever your friend who doesn't suck at electrical things likes, and don't let him/her start drinking it until the job is done.

Or you buy 4 butt-splice connectors, and (I'm guessing that these are "mirrors with turn signals in them"?) if you want to be able to remove them later, chop the ends off the GS turn signal wires (not the harness wires, and not too short - leave some wire on the ends) attach the GS connectors to the wires (chop off the GSXR connector) from the GSXR turn signal that is also a mirror with the butt-splices - if that's what it is.

If it has wires for some other reason, heck knows.

DO NOT cut the GS wire harness in case you want to go back to the stockers later.  Cut the connector off the GSXR mirrors and use "scotch locks" to splice them into the GS wire harness.  Here's a nice tutorial:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAgrevpkKJs  Good luck!

I have bad experiences with scotch locks and water and time. I would avoid using one on a bike. If you move the connectors and go back to stock, you can add 4 more butt splices...and you haven't opened a hole in the insulation of the main harness wiring that will promote corrosion.
