I have been here since some times now, and I have proven to be a legit member. Now it's time for me to tell you something very important: do not buy anything from MMOTOS.

I repeat: do not buy anything from MMOTOS.

They are crook, really. I will not get into personal details but I got some money stolen. And I am not the only one, someone here pretty famous on the board will back me up when time is right.

They will either not sent you any product, or they will sent you garbage. On both way they will they push the time back so that you cant do anything with paypal.

I feel you, man. But don't get all on the dark side about this and get yourself in serious trouble, or hurt! Plus you shouldn't post your plans like this on the board. Evidence!

You are right, even though I think they could trace me anyway for other reason. My only chance would be to get out of the country before I get caught. Please edit your post too, thank you for your support.

I feel that would be the only way to feel better. Even though part of me know it might be stupid to do that I can't succeed to be reasonable. "or hurt" well I have been in the army for a while and I have seems some rought s*hit already, if I go that way I will make sure to make it safe for me, violence is something I know about.

does anybody ever read anyones posts or only look for parts and order them.... "chance" i think thats his name. from here ordered a full set IIRC from MMOTO and had nothing but trouble and i dont think he still has the fairings fixed to mount on his bike. he has already posted about mmoto. either you didnt see his post or figured you would take a chance that you wouldnt get ripped too. In any case I am sorry to hear about your misfortune but with anything and everything bought online and 100 times harder on over seas buying it is alway 100% buy at your own risk.

"Chanse" did not publicly said anything bad against them at the time I ordered the fairing. When I got in touch with him, it was already to late.

I did my research, and I actually found people that had received their product. Plus the website, with the video would show that it was a real shop with a showroom and a small factory so I didn't worried about it, it seemed legit. I sent people a few pm to know more about it though, however I didn't recieve any answer or when I got in touch it was already to late already.

I did not receive anything. I paid via paypal. The trick is: you have 45 days to do a reclamation. However they claim it takes a minimum of 30 days to built the thing. When I emailed "joe" I would get immediat responses like: we are going to sent it soon don't worry. I was in touch with him for a week before I ordered anything and he was very professional. I remember that I looked at their site again, and you know all the products they have, the show room, the offices, the factory and damned that really seems legit, that's what I tough dumb me.
Then chanse sent me a PM and told me to start a complain right now before it's to late. The thing is, it was already to late. The moment the 45 days were gone Joe didn't answered my email anymore.

If you ask yourself, yes, I hate myself for being stupidly scammed that way.

if they ship nothing paypal has to do something about it. because you actually started complaining before the 45 days was up get with paypal and tell them if the dont do anything about the none shipment of the parts or you will be forced to take action against paypal for incuraging companys to not ship things and stringing you along until the 45 days is up. when you email them(paypal) include all emails to JOE and show that he strung you along until the 45 days was up then stopped emailing you and you still have not received anything from them....

Yes that's what I am doing right now

I am making up a fine report and I will also complain to ebay (I bought the thing throught ebay). Also I will also sent that to a dutch man living in brazil from the forum, maybe he can do a few thing. However, I contacted the police in my country about it and they told me they already saw those kind of thing and paypal won't do s*hit. That's why they told me paypal, even though it the least worst, it's still something you have to be very carefull with. They told me about other scam even more stupidier and how paypal didn't do shaZam!.

well i wish you luck in your filling of the complaint with paypal and ebay. i would have thought as long as you didnt receive anything from them you should be all good with al his emails showing he was just keeping you asking until the 45 was up and then no emails from then on and still no product. if enough people complain about the ebay account they will have his account removed from ebay.

Well he don't use his ebay account anymore anyway. I only hope that if someone type GS500R, MMOTOS or something like that on google he end up here so he know not the buy from them.

This is what I tough too. However, I made a lot of research and guess what, even if you start a complain in time you have zero garanty that you will get you money back. So if you didn't even followed the 45day ruled, then you are f%&ked. And they alredy know about this kind of scam, it's a classic. Yet don't to shaZam!. There is actually many easy way to f%$k someone using paypal.

For exemple: I creat I bank account on wich your withdraw your money. Then I move the money into another bank account. Well see ya, you can kiss my ass goodbye. Paypal will try to take the money back from the account but if it's empty your not going to get anything. And if it's in a country not so good with law and stuff they paypal won't to anything at all, you are just f%&ked.

The cops told me other crazy stories, you wouldn't even imagine how many people get scammed daily using paypal thinking it's safe.

Morality: paypal is not always more safe than using a regular CC money transfert. So when you paid someone to ship you something, you got to be extremely carefull. Paypal or not. This a common sense, and that's why this story make me even more sick.

Never Again, I have ten times more work to do than If I just fabricated the kit my damn self. They delay everything until its too late for paypal or your credit card company to do anything then send you crap or nothing at all or like me a combination of the two.... Trying to scrape together more money to finish both my shop and the bike, but I have all kinds of crap to do and spare parts.... like someone else said on here before "indecision is expensive...."
