Good luck with it! I've used it twice, both times went pretty well. The first time I made sure to clean the tank well in step 2 and rinse it out. The second time I just used phosphoric acid instead of 'metal ready', and instead of rinsing it all out I left some in to dry because I heard it would leave a coating and keep the tank from flash rusting before you got the final coat in. It worked but left the inside looking pretty rough because it wasn't a smooth surface under the final coat.

I actually cleaned out a rusty moped tank and coated the inside with phosphoric acid and let a little dry in there, and completely skipped the 3rd step and it's still holding well a year later.  :thumb:
