I'm looking for a set of mechanical carbs with accelerator pump.

The only ones I know are FCRs and TM(RS) from Topham.

The Buddha

Actually fleabay has em ... plenty of em. They came on dirt bikes. problem is, you have to make a 2-1 manifold and run 1 carb, which really is just fine cos the intakes strokes are very far apart in this bike.
Cool.

Yes, the carbs I'm looking for, are for the GS. A dual setup, 33,34 maybe 35mm venturi.

Buddha, I already have one carb bought for my dirt bike, which was stolen. But I read that a single carb setup, will hurt the upper end.  :dunno_white:

The Buddha

It will only if your carb is a lot smaller ... for example the savage 40 mm CV is about equal to a 36-38 smoothbore. You put anythign smaller it can be bad, cos a smooth bore pretty much is all top end ... so essentially you have to fit 36-40 smooth bores in it.
On a GS you need to watch for lonog and convoluted manifolds ... so make a short Y and its better for top end than a long convoluted thing like on a flat track XS ... where it fits right about where the passenger's thighs would be ... but on an XS it is OK cos that thing revs to 7500 on a good day.

Cool.

Do you know where I can find a Y manifold?
Or do I have to custom make one.. (that would mean major $$$ here in Greece)

The Buddha

Oh You may have to make it, but 2 Pieces of U or Z pipes can be cut and welded up ...
Cool.
