Some materials actual repair their molecular structure when frozen?

Doesn't that violate some fundamental law of physics?  :dunno_white:

I would think the molecular structure of an object would be pretty well...um...frozen...when an object is...um...frozen?  :dunno_white:

Nope! Things like nylon that are warped by heat can return to the memory of the molecular level when subjected to tempertures below freezing! Fact not fiction!

Sounds reasonable to me.

The bike revs smoother now, but the carbs have to still be out of sync, boggy as hell still.

BTW I have seen it get soft and sticky ... dunno what causes that, maybe some caustic additive to gas.

Cool.
Buddha.

Its the ethanol I think.  I used to run 94 with 10% ethanol in my DR350 and had to rebuild the fuel system once a season.  Now its a DR443 running 110 with a NOS fogger system, no more rot!

Just an update here, the bike is still running like crap. Flat spot still exists at low revs during acceleration (1.5 - 2.5k).

I'm thinking of getting a new airfilter, replacement jets, and checking float bowl height. Either that, or having it tuned up by someone who knows what the hell they are doing.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like you've got a plan, maybe do the float levels first, that's free!

Hi there,

They look pretty worked out to me...i would try to replace those asap, the part is kind of expensive 25 bucks or so a pop. Easy to replace

JonM1211

Oh those have long since been replaced, it seemed to make things abit better, but didnt solve the problem.
