NEEDED '89 parts

ok here are some parts i currently need for my 89 gs500e:

gas cap with key

petcock assy.  not in tank the on/prime/resv.

both hand levers

throttle cable

right side engine cover  2 pieces needed  the large main part and the small round part

I make a billet right side round cover. That cover gets damaged easy and has the ignition stuff under it ... lousy crap design. Anyway, all the rest is more important ... I have the large cover too but I have to dig it out of my garage and I am buried under 4 inches of ice and snow. The rest, I dont have, however cables etc are perishables, you may have to get new.

if you could that would be awesome  name ur price (i have three kids and a wife so im not made of money) lol    zip is 23188  usps should be fairly cheap and im not in a huge hurry.  big thing is i need a gas cap bc if i have to buy one new then i wont have money to rebuild the motor.        can anyone tell me if the re-jet kits  come with the gaskets needed?

I sell jet packs too but no gaskets ... wha tgaskets do you need ? Only leaking carbs need the float gasket, I barely have seen 1 maybe 2 in the several 100 I have worked on that had a bad float gasket.

The billet cover is 40 shipped, jet pack is 22 with the cover (but shipping is free cos it will just ride in the bigger box) otherwise 25.
Larger cover I have to pull it out and take it off and make sure its decent, I am worried about that I can tell you right now, a seized motor rarely leaves good cases ... though outer case can be OK in the GS ... not on a savage ... anyway ... The only for sure ones are billet cover and jet pack.

does ur jet kits require drilling?   im gonna be rebuilding/cleaning the carbs.  will i need any gaskets when i do this?   i gotta clean the carbs on my 06 as well  1 carb is leaking and it messed up the paint on the motor.

Only drilling is the brass cap on the air screw ... if any damn kit tells you to do anything with your slide ... run, dont walk from there.
Anyway, if you are careful, and dont use caustic crap to clean it it will make it back fine with all the O rings and gaskets. I stock and sell O rings only for 89-00 carbs. I have not tried 01+ cos the O rings usually last 5-10 years and I dont have demand for it yet.
