Got BT003rs put on at Competition Cycle cause it's my buddy's shop. All I got to say is holy crap, it feels like a new bike. Corners are rediculously more fun now. Can't wait for some warm weather to really test them out. They balanced them as well.

I bought a set of 003's a while back, but then sold my other GS. Finally got the parts bike titled, just got them installed on my set of white wheels! They look sexy:



I only worry about the mileage I'll get out of them. I'm normally doing semi aggressive street riding, with some long country roads to connect the twisties. My pilot powers are holding up great on the DRZ, but I'm not sure if the softer 003's will get torched quickly.

I went with the Avon VP2 Sport 150/60ZR-17 on my 05 gs500f back last october. It's not the cheapest tire but so far it's been great. It handles good and the tread-life seems to be holding up well. I've probably put between 4-5000 miles on it since i mounted it and it looks like i'll be able to get at least 10k or more from it. I purchased mine at denniskirk.com for about $150 but thought it worth the extra money for a longer lasting tire. PLus the wider tire looks great and it fits just inside the brake torque bar with no mods needed at all.
