If you are happy, that is all that matters.  A lot of us are going to disagree with what you did cause we wouldn't do it.  I, being one of them, would not do it.  But hell, you are having fun and being creative.  More than likely you will be encountering some "repainting" in the future, lol.  Then you can paint the whole thing lime green!!!

It's his bike, he can F it up all he wants     Seriously though, as long as you are happy with the results, that is all that counts.  I'd rather see something somebody did themselves than a high dollar job done by someone else.
