I have a 93 gs500 and lately, it's not been running so well.  It starts fine and runs ok, up until about 5k rps.  Once it gets above 5k it starts to sputter some.  After it starts to sputter, if engage the clutch and let off the gas, the engine will die.  It kinda feels weak on take off too lately.   I was hoping you all could give me some ideas about what could cause this.  Thanks in advance!

Hi,might be worth checking carb diaphrams for a hole up against a light, never had one go on my Gs but it feels like fuel starvation, can check without removing carbs. If no joy there inspect carbs further.
