So I found this bike the other day in my friends barn, changed the oil and cleaned the carbs and it fired right up, ran it through the gears up and down the road and all 6 gears were fine! Needless to say I was surprised in a good way.  I went to the DMV and found out that I have to bond the title to get it street legal, needless to say I found a 2002 gs 500 and picked it up this week.  I ran the vin numbers on both the engine and frame with the police and they were cleared.  I used a few parts off of the bike on my 02 but dont really want to store the rest, thus the part out!

Is the exhaust stock? and do you have any sort of cowling or windscreen on it?

I'm in need of a starter solenoid as well as an airbox/the two rubber boots that go between the airbox and the carbs...still have any of that?

if you part out the motor i want first call on the right side cover(both pieces)  also do you have the tach and choke cables?

sold alot of the bikes parts so far, really just have wheels and tires, rear rotor, electronics, frame, and carbs.  I really do appreciate everyone's responses on here and all the help in parting the bike out.
