2005 Exhaust

I have light to moderate scratches on the the chrome cannister and would like to know if there is a way of polishing out the scratches without destroying the can.

as per my understanding, you can polish out scratches and oxidation, just like you polish your grandmother's silver teapot, but if its really deep, then no.. not without taking the finish off. You might be able to exeriment with a metal polish, like brasso, but try some place inconspicuous, like right next to the tip. Or something for aluminum, I'm assuming.
