This is what I do.  Keep your bike on the side stand, while standing on the left side of the bike, place your left foot on the center stand, grab ahold of the frame under the seat on both sides and pull up while pushing on the stand.  I know it sounds akward at first but I found it to be much easier for me as I'm not the stongest or tallest person in the world, and the bike has never fallen or even tipped slightly.

Kingleo, your technique really interests me. My naturaral stance with left foot on stand was to grab under the seat with my left hand on far side  so I'm looking to the back of the bike, is that how you do it? or do you reach across with your right hand? this just did not feel right, maybe 'cos I'm left handed.

Nope, i keep facing towards the front of the bike.  You could try grabbing the frame under the seat on the left with both hands and pull, I do that sometimes.

I agree it really isn't that hard.  I don't weigh but like 140-145 and am very weak; like I bench 120lbs.  Don't laugh.  It's all in the motion.  Once up there put the thing in first and let out the clutch to lube the chain.
