To flyscreen or not to flyscreen?

I would like some opinions. I'm pretty undecided on the flyscreen, but Heather hates it. I had it on for a couple days, now I have it off. It's small enough that it really doesn't do anything, more of just for appearance. I personally love Buells(I'd have an S1 tail on there as well if it wasn't officially Heather's bike), so I kinda like it, but I think it's a little tall compared to how low and long the tail is. It also sticks up a little more than it does on the bike it's meant for. I know people always say "it's all a matter of what you like, you're the one riding the bike", but I'm not sure, so which do you guys prefer??

Seems to me that if its her bike you should keep it how she prefers it.  But then again, I also think it looks better without the screen so maybe I'm just biased.  Maybe you could just put it back on when you're going to ride it

Yeah I didn't clarify that. She's not riding it. We bought her the GS when I had my Triumph. I sold my triumph, she parked the GS. 4 years later I wanted to start riding again, so I pulled the bike out of her parents shed and fixed it up. She only had her permit before, which expired, so she would need to go get her permit before she can even ride it. I'm hoping to get myself a new bike in a couple months, so I'll lower this one, put the clipons back on it(she hates the dirt bars too), and definitely take the flyscreen off. For now we had to switch the title into my name so I could even get insurance on it, so really at the moment it's 95% my bike, but she still gets picky about how it looks. Eventually it'll go back to being 100% hers.

She's not even horribly interested in it anymore. She has a moped now that we're in the city which she's perfectly happy with, but I think her last opinion was that she'd like to make a cafe racer someday, which I'd be pretty happy with. The GS was always a little big and heavy for her. I'd feel much more comfortable with her on something like a cb350/400 with a really low seat.

I vote no screen.

I took mine off(bigger), even though it does help when cold, or above 50.

aww..... that picture makes me sad, haha. That was my old bike. Not the exact one in the picture, but it was still an all black speed4.    :icon_sad:

I usually like fly screens...but not that one.
