On those days when life is a little too much and nothing seems to be going right, I pause for a moment to ponder the wise last words of my grandfather:  "I wonder where the mother bear is?"

Nice!

On a side note, Yama, that Rossmeyer dealership is now closed.   That's I-95 in the background, and I go past there every day.   They also used to do MSF course there.

That first video is awesome. You won't catch any overweight american cops pulling that kind of riding on their Harleys.

On a side note, this video was in the sidebar of the HOG rally video, and it's way more entertaining.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hG1mz2DSB04&feature=fvw

That HOG rally video also reminds me of this video...

You hardly wont catch ANY overweight cops on bikes. becasue some of them MUST ride this techie type thing. ( to get around say mangled cars and such.) ive seena few rotund cops on bikes before but not many, im still trying to find the HD vid, although not as fast as the jap cop video, not much slower. for big bikes, either a goldwing, or an hd bagger works great becasue , in hte goldwing, it uses a flat six engine. all the weight is down low, ( easier for slow maneuvering. ) in the hd, teh crankshaft is HEAVY. ive assembled/repaired many of them. again, the wieght is down low. either motorcycle is easy to bring back to normal after a slow lean. and BOTH bikes are VERY heavy

Too bad it's closed.  The guy was killed on the way to Sturgis last year, I think.

I think Pittsburgh is known for not being the most physically active. There's definitely a couple of chubby bike cops here, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were a bit more physically fit elsewhere.
