I searched but didn't find much. I'm repainting the bracket that holds my gauges. Only problem is, I can't get the tach gauges out of the bracket, because the trip-meter knob or whatever is in the way. Any help on how to get it out?

Thanks in advance. I'm a noob.

I had the exact same problem last night. there is a tiny phillips head screw inside the knob that holds it on. use a small phillips (I had to use one from a jewelers set) to remove the screw and the whole knob will come off
