Buggy from a Suzuki ATV

Hey guys, I've been working on a Buggy build, I chopped a Suzuki LTF 250 in half and turned it into a glorified go kart. It's working good, but I've go one issue. The Carb was fed the gas via a Vacuum pump, but my gas tank is mounted high now, so I don't need all the vacuum stuff, gravity feeding the carb. There are three ports on the carb. The two, I'm not sure what they do, but one is obviously the vacuum line, it will have a really high idle, but once it is capped the idle comes down, but then it lacks power if it's capped, will I need different jet kit with the way I'm running this carb? Or can I just route the vacuum back to the engine?
