You might be able to JBweld the piston, but you'd need a barbeque and a hammer to straighten that conrod. Also might be an idea to give the bore a light hone and some new rings, seeing as it was burning oil before it disassembled itself.

mister

If you can't get skim, then 2% is good. Just, whatever you do, don't use powdered under any circumstances. Wouldn't surprise me if this is really the result of using powdered milk.

Mary

Using Soy will only put more $$$ into the coffers of Monsanto - and if you were in Australia, you'd also be funding the 7th Day Adventists as they wholly own Sanitarium (the company who makes soy milk in Aust).

Soy milk is not milk as you know it anyway. It's not the juice squeezed from soy. It's soy Powder mixed with water and other additives. Remember, no powdered milk. Soy is powdered - just that it's mixed before you get it.

So in short, soy milk won't cut it.

Not debating soy milk. What we talking about is using 2% milk in your bike vs skim vs powdered.

Powdered milk in the bike - even in the handle bars - is Not On. Whether that's powdered milk or reconstituted soy milk.
Skim is preferred for the handle bars.
The disagreement is really about using 2% or skim in the engine. Some say, use what milk you have. If all you got is 2%, then use it. Of course, others say Skim Only. And others are part of the 2% er gang.

Heavy cream is out. I mean, who on earth would put cream in their handle bars. That doesn't make sense at all.  :cookoo:

And while we're on the Right Out stuff.... no fancy almond milk or Rice Milk.

And Mary, if you want to go green, try coconut milk straight from the coconut.  :thumb:
