My Danger Suit:

Mesh Kevlar (won't melt against asphalt), custom fitted, 60% more padding than anything on the market.
Removable liner is waterproof, breathable, and insulated.
Ultimate 4-season riding gear for the deep south.

My beater:

Sorry about the lighting.

The day I met Lawrence Fishburne at the gas station:

i wanna see more pics of that bike, looks pretty cool, whered you put your electronics?

Homer

It involved soldering, a 4-cell lithium battery, a Veypor gauge with heads-up display, and various other things.
I'd tell you more, but you're too busy calling people "ghey".

Made that pipe on the first pic, too.
Tore it off on my last low-side, though.  Went back to the Yosh.

Putting in an R6 shock tomorrow, and a stickier tire.

Considering changing the headlight, but my wife likes the single.  When I get time, I'll probably upgrade to the SV lens and bucket.

Homer

The subframe rails still need modifying at the very rear, for anyone noticing.  (Though, I know the lighting is bad.)
One of these days, I'll get around to it.

I'd like to find a friendly machinist around here.  I'd like to have my engine side-cases modified.
Fairly simple project, but I don't wanna show the plans in the main room.

That kinda looks like Larry Fishburne but Idunno.... I think you might have got swindled.  O0

You got duped so bad. That's why this dude is smiling like he's about to burst out laughing.

Wrong ears, wrong eyebrows, wrong chin, wrong jaw, wrong body shape. No more alcohol for you Homer.

He lost 60 pounds on Biggest Loser, Celebrity Edition over the winter.   And had a facial peel.

And picked up a Nigerian-French accent.

That suit looks pretty nice. Did you go for any of the extra armor options?

There was once a time in this country (like...the 1980's) when people valued their privacy and didn't feel the need to posts pictures of themselves...their girlfriends/boyfriends...their dogs...their ugly prison tattoo's...etc on the internet.

The trouble with Motoport gear is the price of that suit with a few extras thrown in is $1000+ and I don't have that much to spare right now.  Their claims are filled with hyperbole (especially their armor claims), but the material itself seems to be top notch.  Rev'it's one piece suit is $1400.

I'll probably end up buying their suit eventually, though.  Good color, Homer.

Currently, I'm using a suit that is $350 out the door including shipping.  It's from Teiz Motorsports (www.teizms.com).  It's waaaay comfortable in the saddle, but walking around it feels like my pants are falling down.

The one thing that does always baffle me is when guys post pictures of their girlfriends/wives on the internet. Another bike forum I frequent had a whole thread that's just their girls posing with the bikes, whether it's in underwear, naked, whatever. I get that you've got that dominant male monkey thing going on where guys want to compare everything, including girlfriends/wives just to decide who the alpha male is, but seriously I'm perfectly happy giving up that role to not have creepy internet guys storing naked pictures of my wife on their computer.

As far as the suits, they definitely look like some good protection, but they're just a little bright for me.

What do you think of the Roadcrafter? (http://www.aerostich.com/aerostich-suits/roadcrafter-one-piece-suit.html) A friend of mine wears one and swears by it.

Excellent but too warm is what I've heard, and it's not cheap either.  If I'm going to spend close to a grand, I'll get the Motoport since it's so well ventilated.

I was gonna reply with a statement about my satisfaction with the Danger Suit, but then realized it might come across kinda egocentric.
The thing's expensive, and not everyone can afford it.
I'm very lucky that I can, and don't want to insult people that can't.

I'll just say this:  I would give away my bike, to keep this suit.  Happily.
If anyone's thinking of buying one, and has any questions, feel free to ask.

As far as the Roadcrafter:
-the waterproof liner leaks in the crotch, therefore it's not waterproof
-Cordura melts
-you can't wear it at the track, so you've gotta pay AGAIN for track wear
-the ventilation SUCKS
-custom sizing costs extra
-it's not guaranteed for life.
-it won't stretch, when you get fat
-the armor is second-best
-I like C cups better than AARP cards.
