Newbie here. Just purchased my very first bike, 2007 GS500F. In fact, the guy I bought it from had placed a few of the mods into it that he found from this site. Here is the lowdown.

2007 GS500F
- Rear shock swap
- Suburban-Machinery Type 2 bars
- Uber Fender Eliminator
- Cigarette lighter installation
- GPS direct power integration (usb power)
I'm 6 foot and 210 pounds and find that the height and balance of the bike is great. Always thinking about going out and riding when I'm not. Dang the bug bit me :)

welcome.  wish i had those bars but dont want to spend the 150 to get them.  enjoy your new ride.

What'd you swap the rear shock with? Kat/r6/gsxr?
'04 F to an E to a wreck to a Wee Strom?
HEL stainless brake lines
15W fork oil
Kat 600 Rear shock
K&N drop in and Buddha jets
It wants me to go brokedie.

The previous owner already did it. Looks like the SV650 shock since its yellow.
