Wanted Black front fender for a 2000. Mine's melted at the back some how from the PO. Ed

Mine is exactly the same way, I have no clue why, and its never gotten hot after a hard ride.

I think that's actually pretty common. The paint on mine is cracking, do either of you have aftermarket headers?

I just searched fender heat on the forum, apparently if your bike is running lean the headers can get hot enough to melt the fender. After you find a fender you may want to figure out your potential lean issue to prevent recurrence.
