Well my battery finally died this morning after I've left my lights on twice.  Anyone have suggestions as to what kind of replacement battery to get?

If you can afford a Yuasa, buy one, otherwise a BikeMaster is just a Yuasa that didn't pass Yuasa's quality control, but it's less expensive...
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Well recharge it...
Also my battery might be bad as well... or my regulator... gotta check it... Sometimes it works great and cranks over many many times... this morning it died with 2 feeble cranks and a clunk.
Cool.

See my GS500E Batteries page for some ideas.  It contains pages scanned from 2001/2002 catalogs, so the prices may not be accurate.  But the part numbers should still be the same.

Caveat: Unless you get a sealed battery, mail order items come without the electrolyte (acid).  I picked up a bottle at my local Checker auto parts store.
