trade your GS plus cash for an '08 Ninja 650R?

Hi all ... I have to let my beloved 650R go, and thought maybe someone here might want to trade up; I need to invest a little cash into my business, so my Kawasaki needs a new home. Bluebook is $4425, I need $3700 cash or a smaller/cheaper bike plus cash.

Just over 4k miles. I purchased the bike from the original owner, then stripped off the front fairings & added the LSL headlight kit. It's also wearing LSL handlebars and LSL frame sliders, a Scorpion exhaust can (with removable decibel-killer insert), and a luggage rack. Starts and runs flawlessly, has never been down - great fun. Fuel injection. Clear title in my name.

Hey Robb!  I'm a lurker on the Hawk list, and thought breifly about just such a trade.  Sounds like you've got that 650 set up nicely.  But alas, cash to add with my GS is scarce.  Good luck wuth the sale!

Thanks very much ... am already missing the bike, though I haven't found a new home for it yet. Simply an amazingly light, flickable grin-machine. I've got a couple friends both looking for starter bikes, so if someone out there has something they'd like to trade toward it, by all means speak up ...

I would definitely do the trade if I had a little more extra cash and didn't live out here in ca. I'm looking to upgrade and this would of been perfect! Good luck with finding someone closer that is willing
