If you're only wearing your protective gear while riding, YOU ARE WRONG.

Some fine citizen just hit me with his car, as I was WALKING through a parking lot away from my bike.
Stared at me as I was pulling in, lit up like a Christmas tree... fog lights... high beams.. etc
Hel1, we even made eye contact.
Waited till I had my gear off and started walking, jumped in and nailed it. 
Not just out of the parking space... Oh No....
Out of the space, across the lane, into ANOTHER space, and then me. 
Hit me in the hip, shoved me a few feet.  AND THE F**KER STILL KEPT GOING!!
Cracked his back glass with my helmet, before I was drug under the rear bumper.

Yelling didn't work, smacking the glass with my hand didn't work... had to break his back window to get the fine citizen to stop.

Sh!ttiest part?  A mom and three little girls were walking beside me, 10... 15 feet away, right in the same path. 

Words were exchanged. 
"Couldn't see you"....vs....."I'm F**KING BRIGHT GREEN!  You can't see me?"
"You're smaller than the car"....vs...  "No sh!t.  I'm a F**KING HUMAN."

So, he speeds off.  Comes back as I'm in the store.  CALLS THE STORE, thinking I work there... trying to get me fired.
Tells the store manager he called the police on me.
Called the police myself... they hadn't heard a word. 

What a chump. 


Police:  "Well, you should have been watching where you were going."

At least you broke his window    , some people shouldn't drive and the cops response is stupid,

why not charge him ,was it hit and run?
