Hi all, having just bought a GS500 for my daughter's first bike I found it wasn't running as well as it should.  It has a drop in K&N filter and although it's not mounted, a Vance & Hines exhaust came with it as well as the mounted stock system.  So after reading a lot on this site about rejetting carbs I started looking online for a place to get a variety of jets.  I found Carb Parts Warehouse (carbparts.com) in Cleveland, OH.  Lucky enough for me it's only a 40 mile jaunt from my house.  So I called and asked if they sold parts over the counter.  The guy said that they normally do business over the phone or internet that it was fine if I stopped by.  So last week I went there to get some parts.  They were VERY knowledgeable selling carb parts for motorcycles, snowmobiles, atv's and boats.  He suggested some parts and I requested some and I came home with a total of 8 jets for less than $40.  It helped that no shipping cost was needed, but that did include tax.  I went back up yesterday (Mon) to see if he had those tiny O rings needed for the GS.  Once again he was very helpful explaining technically he had no parts for the GS carb but was able to match up everything I needed.  I got all the O rings I needed plus two new needle valves (not the whole assy) for $30.
So if you're in the need of carb parts I suggest giving them a call to see if they can help you out.
I have no connection with them, just a satisfied and happy customer and passing on my experience with them.
