Old and new GS 500E Owner

Hello from NH, back in 1994  when in I lived in FL, I bought my first motorcycle a brand new GS500E in Metallic purple...

I sold it around 1998 and regretted it for many years....the other day while casually browsing Craigslist I came a across a '97 GS500E with low miles....long story short I am once again a GS500E owner....


It only has 4300 miles on it ...some cosmetic damage here and there nothing you wouldn't really expect from a 13 year old bike. Runs good....carbs need a good cleaning I think though...I get some hesitation around 4K RPM....other than that its a nice bike....

Welcome to the board and glad you snagged another GS!  They are addictive little bikes. 

You are already aware of the dead spot in the RPM band so I won't go into that.  You know what to do!
