Am trying to figure out a cost effective way to get a bike in the FS section from Amarillo, TX to somewhere near NJ.  Am looking for anyone along the way that would be willing to do parts of the leg.  I know their are members all along the way on this forum and would amazing if i could find enough people to just get it within a days driving distance of NJ.  Time is not a big issue so if it takes a month to make it to me that is fine if people have busy schedules but any bit will help.  Please let me know if you would be willing to help in any way and i will see if i can get a full chain together.  I can send people who help out money through paypal for their time.

Thanks.

Just to let you know the bike is not running so riding the bike unfortunately is not an option as it would have to be towed.

Don't see this working but I'm in MD if you can get it that far...

Thanks

I know this is a long shot but if it does work that would be awesome.

Doesn't hurt to try.

You might be better off to call the local dispatch of a trucking company like Yellow / Central Freight / Etc... and see what the dock to dock shipping would cost. It might be just as cheap as people trying to jockey it across the U.S. That would very interesting to start that sort of network. Something like 4-6 hours for each person. The problem is, getting it sorted from each person and trusting them.

I believe the trucking co. will mount it to a pallet and shrink wrap it then deliver to the dock near your area. I sent a VW transmission or motor for about $200 once. (Give or take a few dollars.)
