3M paint protection

I'm thinking of buying a bulk roll of 3M Scotchgard and selling pre-cut kits.
One kit for just the tank, one for the tank and front fairings, and one total kit (tank, front fairings, tail, and front fender).
Possibly for the swingarm, to help with chainlube splatter.  And possibly for the forks, if it'll hold such a tight radius.
Would anyone be interested?

I need a volunteer, since I no longer have a GS.
You come by, I take patterns, you get paint protection on the cheap.  And maybe some lasagna.
I'm in central North Carolina.

Edit:
If you haven't heard of it, it was developed during the Vietnam war to protect helicopter blades from debris.
It's crystal clear, non-yellowing, UV rejecting (your paint won't fade), and won't move around like the static cling stuff.
It's a little more time-consuming to install than the soap-and-water static stickers, but thicker and more resilient.
NASCAR uses it, Baja guys use it, Porsche, etc.

Does it have any texture?  Could it be used as traction pads on the sides of the tank?

No, no texture.
It may give you (very slightly) more purchase on the tank, if you squeeze very tightly with your knees.
You can certainly put StompGrip/TankTredz/SnakeSkin on top of it.  You can't with the static cling stuff.

It's mainly for scratch protection - bugs, gravel, road debris, belt buckles, zippers, keys.

Works well against tankbag scratches, and soft luggage if you have it.
Also, the hooks on bungee cords.
Makes it easier to wash.  You can wax/polish over it and it won't come off.  Use the synthetic wax (like Ice, from Turtle Wax) and it won't leave white residue at the edges.  (Plus, you can put Ice on the black plastic bits, too.)

Edit:
You can read about it here:

They don't have patterns for the GS500, though.
I'd offer similar pricing and kit options.
Only the 3M stuff.  I don't like the static-cling.  It moves around too much, and isn't thick enough.
