I you got a wind screen i was wanting know how you like it.  I have a naked gs500 and im around 5' 10".  I was wanting something to cut down on the wind sound.  I was looking at this one but not sureif i want to drop $200.  http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/1865/101/

If you're not really going for looks, may i suggest you to take a look at national cycle's F-15 touring windshield. It'll run you close to $100 if you look on ebay.  I have it installed on mine and it works great, but it's functional over looks.  Installation is a pain in the ass, as their directions are poor, but it really works.

That wind screen doesn't look that bad too me.  May work better for what i do also.  I like sitting up more than i like to lay down.  Thanks for that pick.

I sit up fairly well with it, but I am 5' 5".  I've went on 2 hour long rides with it and it was comfortable as I didn't feel beat up afterward.

I have a Puig windscreen. It's dirt cheap (20 euros) and quality is ok.

I just received a used National Cycle F15 off ebay for 45 dollars shipped (I love people who post items with very vague titles that most people wouldn't think to search out.)  It looks pretty good, and it works very well.  Function is a little more emphasized over form though, but I can't complain based on the amount I paid for it.  It wasn't very hard to install; you can figure it out without the instructions (apparently you're better off learning it that way.)   I have it set up the lowest it is able to be adjusted for aesthetics, so the shield blows air over my shoulders and basically square with my face.  Tucking behind it at high speeds makes highway driving significantly more comfortable than without.

i also just put a F-15 Tour Shield on mine and i really like it, i had the F-18 on it before and man i just got beat to hell with in, and just from the wind drag i was going a lot slower then i am with the F-15.  I'm 6foot and on the highest settings the wind is now at shoulder level sitting up right, and with a little tuck i feel nothing!

only thing it is missing if you ask me it some kinda cross brace on the top part, with a good cross wind it tends to flex a little bit.

I used a big National Cycle Plexi 2 on my bikes for years but I put a smaller Spitfire on my GS for my 02 trip to the Smoky Mtns and have used it spring, summer, and fall ever since; I still put the big Plexi 2 back on for winters here in NE Ohio.  I have done quite a few 400 mile Interstate days with the Spitfire and find it all I need except for winter.  A barn door for a screen would be even better in the winter around here.    :icon_lol:

That Slipstreamer Spitfire is still only $67 at my local place, was only about $50 when I bought the first one.  I had some extra hardware so I converted it to a four point mount and it's solid as a rock that way, a bit floppy with the standard 2 point mounting.
