minor oil leaking from valve cover

So I gave my bike a proper washing last weekend.  First time in the 7 years I've owned it

Ridden about 150 miles since then and there is definitely some minor seeping at a few locations along the seam at the valve cover.

The valve cover was last off several years and about 4,500 miles ago when I checked the valve clearance.  I do recall using a screwdriver to pop off the cover, which was stuck on as if with glue.  This may not have been prudent.

Not sure if I feel like tackling this now, or just wait until I have some other reason to get in there.  In either case, any tips on what I could do to stop this leaking?
