My 2006 choke lever is kinda stiff. Is this typical? It seems like it sticks a bit. Kinda hard to bring the idle down smoothly. Just womdering :)

Mine is the same, I just use either two thumbs (one on either side to control the adjustment) or I just kinda tap it with one thumb...the cable could probably use some lubrication.   :thumb:

Yeah, mine has gotten stiffer, too.  It's just not important enough for me to bother lubing.

there are several parts that can be lubed.  There is a bar that you can see is exposed on one side of the carbs when you pull the choke.  That and the cable can be lubed.  I have had limited success getting the choke to work more smoothly with those two places and lubing the handlbar where the choke lever rides against it.  Most of it has been more trouble than it was worth though as my choke still is not very smooth

You want to be careful with posts like this. Folks might get the wrong idea. :D

Move your clutch lever to the right a mm. There's a good chance it's pressing on the choke lever and making it hard to twist.
