Does anybody know where to source a set of short span levers? The stock levers are a bit of stretch for the wife and some "dog leg levers" would cure the issue. Prefer not to use short levers such as Pazzo. Let me know if there are any options available. Thanks!

Is the brake lever on her bike the kind that adjusts, or is it just a fixed reach? The one on my 91, not sure if it's stock or not, is adjustable, so I can get it pretty close. If yours isn't, I'd check around ebay first to see if you can find one of those. Otherwise I'm not sure if I've never seen them specifically for a GS, but a good place to start would be researching around the forum to see if you can find out what levers swap from other bikes to the gs. I can't remember what's out there, but if you found out that certain years of gsxrs or bandits also fit on the gs, you'd have a much easier time searching for those.

For the clutch lever, I had at one point just taken some steel wire, pulled the clutch lever in, stuck the steel wire through that little triangle gap now between the lever, the part that clamps to the bar, and the cable, then just twisted the cable to itself. This kept the lever from closing all the way so it was already a little closer to the bar, then just adjusted the clutch cable and when I put that little black cover back on you couldn't even see it. If that made absolutely no sense just let me know and I can take some pictures for you. The whole process takes 3 minutes and works just as well as buying another lever.  :thumb:

If you have a pic handy, that would help. I will check Ebay for some levers as these are not adjustable. Thanks for the input!

Went out and had a look at the bike and understand what you did. Think I may go ahead and drill/tap the perch just behind the adjuster and install a set screw to accomplish the task.

That's good thinking. I've always had bicycles with levers like that, never thought of doing it to this lever.
