ordered me a SHARK-RSX helmet supposedly one of the lightest helmet around for $107,looking forward for high end  helmet's performance

got the SHARK RSX helmet(xs) today.....but unfortunately  think ordered wrong size its too snug a fit
how tightly helmets are supposed to fit..this one is so snug it hurts the ears and cheeks are actually pushed in
I had ordered the helmet based on their size chart and my head round shape and neutral contour
are helmet supposed to fit that snug

Very snug, but not painfully tight.

Do you have a local dealer you can try stuff on?

On HJC helmets, I wear a M.  On Shoei, I wear an L.  It's hard to go by the charts without trying them on.

I bought the helmet online...read few reviews now on helmet ,seems like it suits guys with oval head countour
its almost painful around the cheeks/ears.....
would the sponge compress wite make use and lossen up a little
the website doesnt have any other sizes either now....worst case will have to change the padding to bigger size one

it actually feels like the whole helmet is being supported by cheek-pad pressing against the cheek

My Shoei was quite snug when I got it. but, after a couple of months the padding settled in and now it is a very comfy fit. I'd dare say that if I had gone up a size then after it settled in it may have been way to big!

Next time.... visit a store and try on helmets until you find the size/brand combination that is not too tight nor too loose but baby bear just snug right with9out causing your eyeballs to pop from pressure.

Then, after you have found the brand/model/size combo that's right for you, feel free to order it online.

I can't be stuffed. I just buy from a store and be done with it.

the online store doesn't have any other size in the helmet on closeout and the liner,pads and shipping ..costs more than the helmet itself lol......
will use the helmet a week,cause really like the build quality,paint and finish of the helmet and it weighs mere 1450 gram ..and see if the padding compress
