200 jeez that's not alot. How big is the tank on that 450? I get about 350 out of 16 litres

Seems my economy is slightly improved... 210km's before I had to fill this morning... typically I put 11.2 litres in when I go to reserve.

If I'm out riding in the hills I get more like 230 to 240 but have never hit reserve out there to be sure...

My little 450 breathes very well and is jetted on the rich side... I sacrifice economy for fun with those K&N's and that nice pipe  :icon_twisted:

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

:icon_twisted: yeah I know... Also know Ducatisti don't like their rides being confused with Hyo's  :icon_twisted:

.... What I don't get is with all Duc's brilliance.... Why they copied the Hyo GTR's for the monsters?  ;)

Thought Ducati copied the Honda VTR 250s  :dunno_black:

Janx101

Don't you get bothered now! ... It's ok... A lot of Ducatisti have trouble 'thought-ing' ..  :D

There is only one success - to be able to spend your life in your own way.

Gee those Italians think of everything eh!! ... Imagine... Knowing their product could burst into flames at any time they include a QR for the tank.... So those riders with fast enough reactions can rip the tank away and prevent a total conflagration!! ... Nice!!  ;)

Looks like the same windshield I've got Snake :P .

Well I haven't had a lot of time to get much riding in other than back and forth to work, but today went on a nice 150ish mile ride through the twisty country roads of Tennessee. Although it was to a funeral that I rode in  :icon_neutral: . Still a very nice ride on a very nice summer day.

Ridden it through the tumultuous streets of London in rush hour traffic.  Also had the chance to clean the rear swingarm area and have a look at the non working Scottoiler.  That will get more looking at this afternoon if time permits.  Has the touring tank under the numberplate fitted and is a rather nice addition, but is currently not pushing any fluid through the pipework.

That is just how I like to see working bike on a road trip NorthWEst ride. I like to view my Nissan Patrol like that as well and then when getting home use the highpressure water to make the vehicle clean again. Good fun always.
Ride and enjoy every day

Well saturday (above) got thrown out the window.. bought another GS. Tuesday got thrown out as I bought... another GS..

So Sunday partially and Monday night after work I did the following:

Brake Bleed front and rear before pic:

Front Fork rebuild, Seals, Sonic install, Front Fork Brace install:

Superbike Bars and Pro Grips installed:

Battery box painted (sticky residue is old tape, I didnt bother cleaning  tape residue off it, plus it rained on my finished paint!):

Raptor Screen install:

Katana Rear shock install:

No pics but also:
Clutch Adjustment
Bar End Mirrors
LED Indicator conversion
Battery Tender Quick Connector

Still have some fine tuning to do, shave tail, etc.

Old Mechanic

Tightened up the kick stand by adding a washer, and lubed the chain. Waiting for fork seals to get here and get them done then I should be set for a while.
