In the end the most important piece of safety gear is the thing you put inside your helmet.

Zwerski

Washed it. Rode it. Then bought a Sharpie paint pen and fixed the aftermath of a battery leak from one of the PO's. before and after:

slipperymongoose

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

comradeiggy

Ordered new springs and fork oil. Still searching for a rear shock.

Tombstones81

Repainted my tank after tilting the tank improperly while swapping jets out.
Was filled too much and gas leaked out the cap and down the back for like 5 to 10 mins.
Ate the paint from under the clear coat basically.
or was just WAY too much gas for the clear to handle.
as when I was stripping it, I poured has over the entire tank twice to see what it would do... didnt do a thing  :thumb:

even the Aircraft Stripper had a tougher time then I thought getting through it.

Before

After.
JUST got done an hr ago and its still drying.

Received my new springs from Race Tech, didn't install them. Why? Someone hid my dremel. Sonofabitch.

Been riding a lot the last couple of weeks cause of the really nice weather. Rode to the car show here in town and surprisingly got to park next to a dark turquoise colored  94' GS500E. Didn't get to meet the owner though, but was cool to park next to twin :D

nice,which brand are those?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261035305083#ht_1052wt_1139

huh.
"Coyotemoto.com"

wonder why they are so cheap?
http://coyotemoto.com/products.asp?prodid=60&depid=1
says
"The bobbins are made from Acetal Copolymer and the fittings are HE30 aluminum and stainless steel. All bolts are de-embrittled to bend rather than snap in the event of a crash"

wonder how that compares to R&G, etc?

bombsquad83

Finished the Paint!  Then rode her again for the first time in a few weeks.
