Hey I overfilled my oil not excessively but im getting a little bit of oil dripping from the bottom of my bike when she is warm (not from the drain screw or the filter housing) I would like to know if this could be a result of overfilling it, before I get too involved in looking for a leaky seal

What do you mean by overfilled, but not excessively?  If it's overfilled you MUST drain enough to get it to the full line or your oil will not circulate properly and engine damage is very possible.  If you were a few ounces over I'd say it's no biggie, but if it's overfilled by a quart or more you gotta get it outta there!  It's quite possible your oil drip is being caused by oil coming out the crankcase breather because it's too full.  DON'T ride the bike again until you get the oil level right.  Best of luck.
