so...............any word from the mysterious maker?
Don't mind me I'm just new.

Why did it take 14 years to have 3 good choices: I mean the "old" TCP fairing, the new '04s and this new one???? I looks like such a big effort for a bike which was dead from natural causes a year ago... ha ha...

I like that much better than the 04 :thumb:

w00t damn that is just sExY
they did an amazing job on the kit, please keep us informed about the status... i would be really interested in the undertail and hugger.... they could maybe do something similar to what 2wheeljunkie.com did with their fairing kit for the SV650, you can buy the pieces individually or buy the complete kit and adjust prices accordingly, if you where to buy the pieces one at a time from 2wheeljunkie it would be more expensive than buying the complete kit all at once

anyways it gets my  :thumb:  :thumb:

Hey whats up everyone?
Currently, it is being decided whether or not, the individual pieces of the kit can be sold. The price is in US $$.
Hopefully, I can tell you exactly what is included tonight. Im waiting on an email.
If there is sufficient intrest, the kits will available. WE just need a minimum number to ship them to the USA. (They are custom made at a shop in Brazil where my friend lives. He does all the fabrication).
They really do a impecable job. Its seamless.

there is no place like home, when your on the opposite coast!!

Rich500

Okay everyone!
I have some good news and some bad news...well realtivley.

The kit shown, is more expensive than originally though. Its is $1150.00 but includes front fairing, rear setup, lights, hardware, everything to make it perfect!
It comes in black, or Blue only. Or you can have it unpainted.
The rear will not fit the older models, but the front will for sure.
You can buy the kit in 2 pieces however.
The front set up is $850 US.
The rear set up is $250 which is still pretty good when concidering what you get.
When I was quoted $800 give or take earlier, he thought I meant just for the front. Im am truley sorry about the confusion! Its hard when translating from portugese to english. I amke mistakes
So, in closing, the lights are included, fairings, hugger, and the other goodies you see. I will post if I have to revise this at all.
Im still going to be translating into English, so other ammendments may follow!

damn. i thoght 800 bucks for the whole thing. that would've been a bargain. but it wouldnt matter much. i have a late model (89-00). and besides that i dont have 800 george washingtons to give away. if i did, that would probably be my first choice.

luke1645

when you said it would also come in black would that match the paint jobs of the older models black paint jobs? i have a 98 so the tail piece is out of  the question for me.
going fast isnt the problem, its the crashing and burning that hurts

Rich500

I assume it would match. I dont know the black of the pre 01 GS500. Maybe someone else could tell us it it would match or not. I believe it is the same though.
I cant wait to get the whole kit put on my bike!!!

I am compiling a list of people who would like one of the kits or both of them. If your intrested, post it, cause I have to reach a certain # before they can be shipped and produced!

Baker

I want one but i probably won't commit until i see some people actaully get one.  I'm extremely skeptical about sending any random person on the internet that i don't know that large of a quatitiy of money.

Rich500

I am too Baker. Thats cool! My bike wont have mine installed untill december, becasue my bike is 4000km away.
