I live in NY and here they use a helicopter to chase speeding bikes and use cars to close-off escape routes.  Chasing today's sport bikes with a car is just as dumb as the speeding bikers and just adds more danger to the situation.  We see the results.  Even this 22-year veteran of the force didn't have a chance.  Use your brains instead of your balls and call the copter!
