 I went down to my home town/ parents house for the weekend. I was going to make the 2.5hr drive back home Sunday but it was raining all day. Being that i just started riding and my rear tire is close to done my dad had me leave the GS at home and take the family mini-van back.....

On the good side i ordered a new set of Pirelli sport demons that my dad will have on the bike for me next weekend! I guess he was only watching out for me. Would have been a cold 2.5hrs anyway w/o rain gear.

I feel your pain. I have not been able to ride for the last two weeks between vacation and a training course I took last week. Its been tough without the bike. I got some sport demons too, very nice.

Good to hear about the tires. Should have jumped on them sooner.

Im in the same boat, only I discovered my left side crank seal leaking after a 500 km trip, tore it all apart on the weekend hoping they would have one at the dealer, its going to take a week to come in, so the bike is stuck in the garage

The good part is that I have a new exhaust and jets coming, So I took the down time to tear the carbs off, and check my valve shims, all the parts should show up roughly at the same time
